“I am canine scientist and principle investigator of the EMOMETER project. I have long-standing experience in dog research and worked on various multi-disciplinary projects dealing with dogs physiology, perception and cognition. My personal aim and ambition is to enhance human-animal interactions. Therefore, it is important to understand how animals are perceiving their environment – my main focus are emotions. In every-day live there are a lot misunderstandings in human-dog interactions, one of which is misreading the others emotion. My research aims is to bridge this understanding between dogs and their owners to guarantee dogs but also humans welfare.”
