The first is the worst…
In October 2018, the project EMOMETER, aiming to develop a toolbox to measure emotions in dogs, has started. As always at the beginning of a new project, the first weeks were needed to deal with bureaucracy and getting used to new infrastructure. Also, I have been busy testing all the new and exciting technologies, which I will use in the course of the experiments, have been setting up my lab, as well as this homepage and twitter (find me @DogEmotion) for outreach activities, which is a stepchange for me as an (apperently) old-fashioned kid from the beginning of the 80s – please be patient with me during my transition into the 21th century…
To stay on track: I have managed the first obstacles and since my lab is finished, I can start to concentrate on the research again. Within the next days I will begin to recruit dog owners for my first experiment. I will keep you informed and will advertise here as well – so if you are a dog owner and interested in joining this research stay tuned. If you are not a dog owner: stay tuned as well – it is getting exciting now.
Cheers
